The new technology is only just now entering the market, and will need to be tested in larger groups, and that’s where Trinity College and the Irish Medical Association come in.

It will be interesting to see how the technology is adopted and used in the longer term, Dr Flynn said.

It was an interesting device, and we are really excited to see what will happen in the future, he concluded.
